Sadly, the music is horrible and the music is too big of a part of the game to play without it. I guess I'll monitor the forums until someone finds a solution. I know it might take a while. I would help if I could but I don't know anything about programing. 03-02-2011, 08:07 AM
why did you randomly quote someone asboxxx? music is fixed with lle, as long as you can run the game fast enough.

LLE is pretty useless by now..i bought a PS2 Japanese version of "TOS" and tried it on my PC with the pcsx2 emulator..it works perfectly at full speed with no issues at all. I don't consider a sound plug-in "working" if it slows down emulation by 20 fps. With HLE the game runs perfectly (but: missing instruments and notes), so is not a problem of hardware, it's just a problem of the LLE plug-in which is broken for now 03-02-2011, 08:40 PM

Audio with LLE is near perfect, it doesn't have any of the problems with music stopping or cutting in/out, no missing notes, audio output is more accurate to the real hardware so sfx and music sound correct with games that have audio issue wit HLE, syncs accurately with the CPU so numerous syncing issues are resolved with LLE. LLE requires a fast system for right now, at least until developers optimize it more to be closer to HLE performance. If you can not maintain full speed with LLE then there will be brief one second pauses/skips, that isn't a bug, that is accurate functionality to keep audio in sync with video. Other than that there is some crackling issues that have yet to be resolved, my builds have a patch applied that resolves some of the crackling with LLE. Any other issues are caused by the mixer and affect both HLE and LLE.
I'd rather deal with the minor issues that LLE has than use broken and buggy HLE audio emulation. Btw, ToS works fine for me with LLE. Audio is essentially perfect since I can run the game full speed with LLE. LLE solves issues with many games, here is a few: SMG1 SMG2 LoZ: TP LoZ: WW ToS RE1: Remake RE0 Wario World Mario Kart: Double Dash Donkey Kong Country Returns (Except intro cinematic and end boss cinematic which is a mixer issue that affects both HLE and LLE) 03-03-2011, 12:23 AM

my main issue with the lle plugin in ToS is that it sounds like the plugin isn't processing the lows and highs correctly. its as if someone took an equalizer and turned the gain up too high on the low and high ends and clipping is occurring making the really low thumps sounds like static. ToS runs fullspeed most of the time on my system, but i do get drops right at the beginning of a battle and then it goes back up to 60. either way the game is fully playable. i think having some sound issues is a fair sacrifice to make to be able to play such an awesome game in high definition and without everything being doubled and making me sick.
