Try using the latest revisions and play with HLE audio instead of LLE audio. That should take a significant load off of your CPU.

Using HLE audio? This game isn't demanding at all. Your GPU should be sufficient for 3x IR, but see if the FPS changes any if you set it 1x.

LLE recompiler? Just set it to HLE (the top most option for the DSP Emulator Engine). Unless LLE audio corrects a specific sound issue, stick to HLE audio. In recent revisions, HLE audio is near flawless. It's far less taxing on your CPU and should help you get some extra FPS.

ahem yes LLE , changed it like you asked cutsences are a bit more fluid but it dosnt relly change were it matters - the main menu and gameplay almost freezes 32 fps ...... i didnt think the audio would make much difference ether its a moot point theres also 1 -2 jitters that i counted simply looking at settings running custom textures , if i can run a game like twin snakes with max settings what would problem here be ?

Different games run different code, so Dolphin has different requirements when running them. Even so, SSBM doesn't take much to run fullspeed, so what you're getting isn't exactly normal. Okay, let's see, I noticed that you've got your Cache Enabled under EFB Copies. Are your EFB Copies set to Texture or RAM? RAM isn't needed for this game, so you can set it back to Texture if it already isn't there. RAM is also more demanding than Texture, so that's the reason I'm asking about it.

If that doesn't help much, please try these settings exactly (or as best as you can, some options have since been removed). If you get any issues with these speed settings (they're intentionally set to the lowest), then the issue probably isn't related to your settings, and we'll have to look elsewhere.

yes but it is kown that twin snakes is a complex game to run i was pushing 60+ frames per second in game play and near 80 in cutsecnes and it was consistent cant 100% recall the exzact ones wish i hadint fiddled with them but getting closer to them as for melee and twin sankes in the newst revsion it feels like a step backwards i dont think proformace is any better relly at least for these games , i got it to go above 60 in game play now but every few seconds it drops really badly i read somewere that the game needs the ram option ticked for some reson and yea that guide your refrecning is called truble shooting from reading other forum posts iv found the best way to trouble shoot for me is to set the game to the settings that other users are getting very good speeds on on simler set ups or well somthing else and then playing with the settings they had in place of corse konwing what they achieved helps to so i konw how far off i am

edit: hmm well having tested nearly all of the offloading texture settings one of them worked well but having them all disabled has some small gains i think there are other settings at play here but having said that yea i tihnk i got better pre fromance out of the older bulids the goal here is 4 player mode at best at the worst 2 player mode

which brings me to what button layouts are some of the other users using for other games its more or less a no brainier but for this game im sort of undecided iv set it up tho its hardly what i would like ....

Hey guys,

I am having quite the FPS issues with the game. It just jumps between 50% and 100% gamespeed staying at each for 1-2min.

My specs:
Geforce GTX 560
8GB RAM
AMD FX 6100 sixcore processor 3,30ghz
Win7 64 bit

Dolphin Version: 3.5-367

The more players the worse it gets with FPS.

Attached please find my current specs (a wild mess of various videos I have watched to optimize it...)
