What are your exact specs? Can't help you figure out the slow down if we don't know what you're running on. If you don't know how to check your specs, try downloading a program called Speccy from Piriform

CPU and GPU, also what specific version of Windows (7/8/10). This way we can try and find if/where you're getting a bottleneck

Hello, a bit of a new user here. I recently loaded up Paper Mario the Thousand Year door, and everything worked as it should up to where you are expected to make or load a save. When it tried to access slot A, it said the memory card is corrupted and must be formatted. How should i configure the slot A/slot B memory cards to successfully make a save?
(Note: I am on PC, and i have plenty of storage space) 05-29-2018, 04:00 PM
Assuming you don't already have any save files on the memory card, just let the game format the memory card for you. (If you do have save files on it, formatting it will delete them.)

OS : Windows 11 Pro
CPU : i7-7700K (4.8 GHz) GPU : GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 HYBRID (2 GHz) RAM : G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB DDR4 3000 MHz C14 Dolphin : latest dev 06-10-2018, 05:47 AM
I am experiencing a very consistent crash at the very beginning of the game that makes it unplayable. After getting the first shine sprite and watching the courtroom & jail cut scene, Delfino Plaza will begin to load (@3:25 on the video). I may or may not hear the first couple of notes of the plaza, but then dolphin freezes and my entire computer becomes unresponsive. I've tried on the current stable version (5.0.r7309) and the latest dev build, (5.0-8074). I also moved my config folder so dolphin would generate a new one, and ran on all default settings (except audio output to pulse, as ALSA prevents any emulation from starting).
There are no error messages from dolphin in the terminal, nor does my computer complain in the dmesg. Everything just halts and the display manager freezes. I can SSH into my computer and kill dolphin, but the framebuffer is frozen and I can't reset the display manager, so I must reboot the computer. I have the US version, but also tried the international one as well with no luck. I have the latest drivers (xf86-video-amdgpu, mesa, radeon-vulkan) and have tried openGL and Vulkan. Operating System: Arch Linux x86_64 (tried 4.14.48-1-lts & 4.16.13-2) Processor/CPU: AMD Ryzen 2600 Video Card/GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 Memory/RAM: G.SKILL 16GB @ 3600 EDIT: When using software rendering dolphin will at least crash gracefully, as in not taking down my whole computer. I get a warning popup during the transition from cut scene to Delfino Plaza several times before dolphin kills itself with the terminal output: Code: Illegal instruction (core dumped) Popup warning in the stable build on software rendering: Code: An error occurred. Popup warning in the dev build on software rendering Code: An error occurred. 06-10-2018, 04:14 PM

Your CPU has terrible single-thread performance and won´t really cut it. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/Int...M/851vs876 Still, you may want to check if it´s overheating, and making sure you´re using High Performance mode on Windows.
