Use 3.0 the official release (not 3.0-XXX). You could also post your specs & settings

Hi
I have run into exactly the same problem. I have been using the configs from the wiki and those: Fullscreen Res: 1280x720 Internal Res: 1280x1056 (2x Native) Texture Cache Accuracy: Full Fast *Per-Pixel Lighting *Force Texture Filtering *Disable Fog *OpenMP Texture Decoder *Widescreen Hack I tried with the 3.0 release and with the current one: 3.0-235 Still the same problem: I see the screen at the beginning featuring the "clearing code cache" line and that´s it. Emulation does not appear to even progress into the game itself. Has anyone come across a solution to this peculiar problem? regards, 12-26-2011, 09:24 AM
Ok, scratch that question - i randomly tried using a ROM file from a different source and suddenly it runs... at wrong speeds that is....
I limited the frame rates, tried the audio throttle and different compilers. 1/3 of the time SC2 runs just fine ingame, even at full HD 1/3 of the time SC2 runs way too fast, even at full HD 1/3 of the time SC2 runs way too slow. And all the time the FPS Counter shows 45-60 frames per second. It appearantly switches at random during game play. I am baffled. If something regarding this problem can be found by googling then i might be using the wrong search terms. Any ideas? Has anyone else encountered this sort of problem? regards, 12-26-2011, 09:46 AM
It's NTSC version ? PAL works fine for me. And i remember something about US version broken in Dolphin, but that was about a year ago.
Or maybe it's just a bad dump ? 12-27-2011, 01:28 AM
Thanks for the advice, ShadowFlash,
it was indeed a NTSC ROM. Switched to a PAL Version and the speed problems were alleviated quite a bit. Now it just runs a little bit too fast half of the time during gameplay. Quite a step forward. I´ll tinker a bit with the configuration, maybe i can find something that will let the game run at 100% staple speeds. |
