This reminds me of that time when I thought that EFB to Texture worked for these games, turned out I was wrong.
Can you post some screens of this ZEROx?

Ok here the screens
first on Dolphin 3.0 git 216 * compiled with Intel C++ Composer *for SSE optimizations* EFB to RAM is ON efb goes unupscaled second one on Dolphin 7694 texcache-rewrite build compiled with Intel C++ Composer *for SSE optimizations* Virtual EFB copies are used, RAM copies are turned OFF efb goes upscaled 12-14-2011, 02:38 AM
For some reason the Visors are working on Metroid Prime with EFB Virtual and yes it is more fast than Ram, but in Metroid Prime 2 the Visors do not work and on New Super Mario Bros. Wii is not possible see coins.

Quote:second one on Dolphin 7694 texcache-rewrite build Ah, it's a texture cache rewrite build, that's why. The visors do work properly with efb copy to texture (virtual) in texture cache rewrite builds, as do many other things in many other games that normally require efb copy to ram. I'm curious to see if anything is broken though considering the texture cache rewrite builds also tend to have the unfortunate side effect of breaking certain efb effects.

NaturalViolence yup texcache-rewrite has many side effects, but they are defenetly very very cool things to test

This works really well on my machine, but the only thing that actually murders it is when opening the map. Whenever opening the map for clues/basic navigation, my frame rate hits the toilet, and overall game speed drops to around 30%. Is there a fix for this?

Same problem here. I'm using the Wii version - it works fantastic if you set Accurate VBeam Emulation on. I'm blown away by how great it works actually. Just played up to Flaahgra with no trouble at all, with EFB turned off completely.
The only trouble is opening the map. It's more amusing to me than anything else - the game can get through a complex boss battle with beautiful, detailed graphics galore, but god forbid you open that map. Those basic polygons send it right over the edge! 01-02-2012, 07:50 AM
Got metroid prime running near perfect on lectrodes 305 build. Only problem I have is some sound effects randomly dont play. Like the morph ball sound rarely plays and you rarely hear doors opening. Not sure why.

Are you using LLE audio?
