Some help please?
I was playing this game a while ago, and when I reach about chapter 10 and later, suspending and trying to load the suspended savegame crashes Dolphin for no reason. It just displays black screen with 0 FPS and 60 VPS with no error report. I'm forced to use save states instead. After about chapter 19, the crashes were getting worse. Trying to load even a non-suspended savegame crashes the game completely . Apparently the game doesn't crash if you saved the game while you're in the base. It just loads like normal. Now, at chapter 27, loading a savegame in the base works, but opening some options option crashes Dolphin (black screen, just like before.). Making it impossible to complete the game. When opening a conversation, the game shows the background, but the character sprites and the conversation text don't. The game freezes here, too. I'm using Dolphin 4.0 x86. I tried using Dolphin 4.0.2, but it still crashes. I also noticed strange, moving pixels in the snow terrain, and i don't know how to fix them. EDIT : I tried backtracking to the stable version of Dolphin 3.5 and the game works fine. The crashes are no more, so I use version 3.5 to play. EDIT AGAIN : Apparently the crashes are triggered by the "Speed up Disc Transfer Rate" option in the Game-Specific settings. The game works perfectly if this is disabled.

[Minor Bug] I'm using the latest stable version of Dophin on Windows 8 (4.0.2) and the character's during dialogue have squares on their faces. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to wait for the update?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but I didn't see any cheats/action replay forums.
Is it possible to get the support modifier codes to work with dolphin? If I try to use them then I get the error "This action replay simulator does not support codes that modify Action Replay itself." Exact codes can be found here Using Dolphin 4.0-1054 03-07-2014, 12:16 PM
If it's a missing feature in dolphin, then you can either make an issue report on the issue tracker (if one doesn't already exist) or ask in the support forum if there is a way to make them work.
Other than that, I really don't know. |
