I was wondering if there was a fix for the GameSir G3W series controller? The only button I can get to work on Dolphin is the 'A' button, but everything else doesn't seem to be recognized. I actually bought this controller specifically to play my Wii and Gamecube games, but this is the only system in my collection that doesn't work! I actually got the controller to work on every other emulator, but Dolphin doesn't work. Any suggestions? (Please don't say 'use another controller')

It's currently not fixed in Dolphin proper, but at fix is in progress at https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/5742
In the meantime, you can use the workaround that's described at https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-co...-x-y-and-b 08-10-2017, 07:25 AM

I tried these steps, but they are for the wireless version of the G3. Oh wait! Nevermind, I got it to work by hitting the 'refresh' button after holding down the home button ... thanks for the help! 08-10-2017, 07:27 AM

Maybe not, but I can't check for sure since I don't have one of those controllers myself. If you want a Windows download for the fix in progress that I mentioned above, you can get it at https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/prs/pr-5742-d...est-x64.7z 01-07-2018, 12:16 AM

Just set the Controller in xinput mode and install x360ce in the root of dolphin. Use xinput1_4.dll. If you are also using Reshade, you should point that to x360ce instead of dolphin. 01-07-2018, 02:41 AM

The problem is thankfully fixed in Dolphin nowadays (if you're using a development build), so workarounds shouldn't be necessary anymore. 01-07-2018, 03:20 AM
