Maybe I can try to look into it. I don't know if I can fix sounds though.

Help me out with Arc Fantasia? Use this and the cheat manager in game to change the values:
0444260C 3F800000 04442610 3F800000 0044261B 00000002 00442617 00000000 Change the 3F800000 values to something between that and 3F810000. They should probably both be the same value, but you can try having them at different ones. Find a value where there is no stutter run. Stuttering when running into walls/objects is normal for the game, so ignore that. The best value I could find is 3F802000 for both, but it's still a bit jittery. 06-12-2017, 02:15 AM

Wow, One More Try you rocks, it works.
I couldn't find a value to fix the stuttering, but i saw that you changed this one: 0044261B 00000002 with the value 00000002 here it makes the menus runs more faster, using 00000001 there makes the menus run at normal speed. btw: is there anyway to edit cheats via cheat manager? right now i am editing via the ar codes tab on the game and then i apply in cheat manager. Any tips on which changes should i do , i tried some random values but no luck, now i will change the minimal possible, 3F800300 in one and keep the other in one value like 3F800200 then i test, if not works i will put, 3F800350 in one and 3F800200 in the other and so on. Edit: I just saw that the new code causes Rogress and Magics to be caster fast (out of sync), I mean in the old code you coud still hear the character talking the name of the rogress and of the magic, but now it skips that, maybe it's related to the others code that original code has? Edit2: Acctually it happens when I changed the 0444260C 3F800000 to others values like: 0444260C 3F809000 this is the value that makes the Rogress, super magic and chain attacks starts to go out of sync.

This is just a test code to fix the walking. I'm working on fixing everything else. I'm only at the start of the game though, so maybe you should test 0044261B 00000002 -> 1 and use 3F802000 values then see if super magic and stuff breaks or not? I can just toggle the 3f80 values between walking and combat. In Cheat Manager, while the game is running, you just click the AR cheat you want to edit and hit edit, change it, then save and apply.
This is my work in progress GECKO code. Turn off AR code when using. I added the last two lines without testing. 22441BB0 00000000 //World map is normal 30fps 044F2C24 00007F7F //footsteps off 04442610 3F802000 //walk 1 0444260C 3F802000 //walk 2 04442614 00000000 //FPS 60 04442618 00000002 //UI speed 2 (fix walking) 20441BF8 00000000 //Check for UI or Battle 04442618 00000001 //UI BAttle speed half 04442610 3F800000 //UI Battle 3f80 toggle 0444260C 3F800000 //UI Battle 3f80 toggle All I could find was how to turn footsteps off, and I figure that's better than them spamming you. I couldn't figure out how the math with 3f80 was breaking walking, so I was just trying random values. If you can see a pattern with changing values and it getting better or worse, that might help, but I have no particular suggestions. 06-12-2017, 10:15 AM

The last two new lines fixes the rogress, supermagic and chain atacks issues in battles, there is no footstep sound, but it is also missing others sounds effects now like the navegate menu sounds , in battles almost all SE are missing right now. I tested out the old code with the changes you asked and it didn't fixed the issue of the super magic and rogress. About cheat manager, I don't have that option to edit, it was because I was using an old build, gonna download the lastest and see. Edit: So the only issues I see for now are the missing SE, Visual Novel windows are twince fast & some windows dialogue too and map is 30fps.

Thanks for checking for me. The map needs to be 30fps to keep the movement speed from being 2x - I couldn't find the values that control it.
You can delete the "footsteps off" line to restore sound effects. If you think 3f802000 is good enough for walking animations, I'll leave that alone. I would like to find a worthwhile fix to the footsteps sound. /edit Parts of the cutscenes seem to only run at 30fps regardless of having 60 fps active. If 60 fps lags then the subtitles lag, but the cutscene isn't affected at all. There seem to be some cutscenes that benefit from 60 fps though. One of the VN scenes completely broke, so I'll switch it back to normal 30 fps for them. Are any other important windows broken?
What code do I do to run Mario Kart Wii at 120 fps? Any region is fine, I port gecko codes

Shops/Guilds/INNs windows are twice fast (those are windows that runs at 60fps without the code) and the "move to the world map window" that appears when you are about to leave the city/dungeon is fast too (this one runs at 30fps without the code).

Edit Reason: fix code typo that crashed game
)
Thanks! I'll keep refining it. Still no progress on sounds. I can disable some sound effects only when walking around, but I don't know how diverse the sound effects are.
@Shuik: No idea about 120fps games /edit Oh boy, it got longer. I was worried about not fixing all the game's default 60 fps areas, like shops, so I added code to let the game take over managing them rather than the hack messing with it. The undo part also makes VN scenes run at 30 fps - I don't think there's any reason to run them at 60 anyways. It should fix any issues with VN stuff, especially characters moving around. I may not fix the 'move to world map' running fast, unless you have trouble selecting the option you want; that's the only possible problem with those, right? Have some crashes and not sure why, removing the fix for shops and hopefully that works. 04442610 40000000 //undo when needed 0444260C 40000000 //undo 04442618 00000002 //undo 04442614 00000001 //undo 20F7AE40 00000000 //undo for conversations 22441BB0 00000000 //World map is normal 30fps 04442610 3F802000 //walk 1 0444260C 3F802000 //walk 2 04442614 00000000 //FPS 60 04442618 00000002 //UI speed 2 (fix walking) 20441BF8 00000000 //Check for UI or Battle 04442618 00000001 //UI speed half 04442610 3F800000 //UI 3f80 toggle 0444260C 3F800000 //UI 3f80 toggle 06-14-2017, 01:40 AM
