What error, what problem? Does Dolphin crash immediately, or were there errors in message boxes before that?
Have you tried installing the Visual C++ 2010 SP1 redistributable package for the correct "version" of Windows? When Windows reports an application error, you should click on "Show details about this problem" and copy/paste all of the crash information. Or you could try copying/pasting the contents of the "exceptioninfo.txt" file in Dolphin's folder which will give you little information...
My computer specs:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x86 CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @2.66Ghz - 2GB of DDR2 RAM (400Mhz) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512 06-30-2011, 10:36 PM
Specs please.
The only reason I can think of that Dolphin would crash with a generic Windows error message is because the ops CPU doesn't support SSE2, he possibly has an old Athlon XP or Sempron and won't be able to use Dolphin to play games if that is the case. |
