I'd like to report this issue since it's in the emulator for the longest time now. I use an emulated wiimote simply because I hate the original one so I just map certain functions to an Xbox 360 controller and use Dolphin that way. It usually takes a bit of tinkering to get working because certain games use different motions but usually it works out... not counting one problem.
See, the thing is that once you start playing a game the emulated wiimote will lose its "sensitivity" or response time: for example in Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands your attack will start coming out later if I press the "wiimoote swing" button and this degradation continues until you won't even be able to attack and just outright fail the QTEs. The only workaround is to restart Dolphin every 2 hours.
Can this be fixed somehow? I know that the emulated wiimote is not really a priority but it would be nice if it were to receive some love. There are people who don't like the Wii's motion controls and there are a lot who can't perform the motion controls for various reasons.
