Is this ever getting an update?
I'd like to play SS with emulated wiimotion+, but the current state of this is just horrible, so many issues its not even worth it. I'd donate if you would make it work. KeithMarshall Wrote:umm...excuse me? 01-25-2012, 10:42 AM

Emulated motion plus is pretty much done for now as far as I know, it's just waiting on a few changes so it can be merged with master. No idea when or if this will happen, though.

I guess the coding side is done then. The actual user side of this is horrible, way too complicated for anyone who isn't actually experienced in these kind of setting hunts. IMO there should be an SS specific control settings window to make the movements actually easy to execute. At least I hope that's the idea behind this.

I can't move the cursor to the right side of the screen, it's like there's an invisible barrier there. like 30% of the screen from right side is untouchable via IR pointer. EDIT: Left side is the same, can't get the cursor over there no matter what I do. KeithMarshall Wrote:umm...excuse me? 01-26-2012, 02:12 AM
You should use a gamepad and try Kaicooper's config. It works really fine

Mostly because all I have is old and broken PS2 controller where d-pad thinks left means up (both keys do the same command) and 2 of the 4 backbuttons are broken. I'd like for someone to post an actually useful solution because I know a lot of people play it with keyboard+mouse with no problems at all. KeithMarshall Wrote:umm...excuse me? 01-26-2012, 04:34 AM
Well, don't get me wrong, this is an awesome project -- but it's definitely not done yet...
The cursor in Skyward Sword is *impossible* to control. If you tweak the settings for hours, you might get it to a state where it's a little less impossible. However, this needs to be *vastly* improved before you can consider this finished. Oh, and in case that should really be a config issue -- then it's too difficult to configure. I tried for, like, days and didn't make it, and I'm not the most stupid person on the world when it comes to things like this. There must be a better way to do it. 01-26-2012, 05:06 AM
