The new textcache-rewrites i have been posting are based on dolphin 3.0-102-dirty.
I have to disagree with this being outdated.

The texcache-rewrite was removed from Dolphin for a reason. You or someone else just decided to add it back, but it is old, buggy, unfinished and is not supported. I can't just add random peoples stuff to threads when it's not supported by the developers. People are free to use them if the like, but I can't suggest to people that they do. It's nothing personal, I think you can understand that.

So... how am I meant to use the texcache-rewrite builds? I've asked before and didn't get an answer.
Do I still use 3.0-204, or something older? 11-30-2011, 11:33 PM

Id like to ask a about this as from what ive gleemed from various posts about Zelda: Skyward Sword is that the graphics issue relating to 'scissoring' of the background is tied to this issue http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/sou...8c0951f210. Basically ive been using R7719 and also a modified build based off that. It works good but id like to use the dolphin 3.0 build as it is stable and the music does not loop or hang like it does in the others. To use the texcache-rewrite link for x64 posted in the 1st post of this thread. Do i just take the .exe and replace in my current version or does it NEED to go with a specific version? The lighting effects in R7719 as not as good as those in Dolphin 3.0 - thats why i wnt to use the latest, but keep the texcache-rewrite changes to avoid any graphics issues. hope that makes sense and someone can advise me. 12-01-2011, 12:10 AM

Hello people ,
I've been trying since the release of SS to make it work on my PC, so i will state my problem and ask for your precious help. I'm currently using Dolphin WM+ emulation version of this thread, and it works totally fine until the save slot screen where the cursor can just be moved horizontally in the middle, so i click on the slot in the middle but the next screen shows the keyboard to enter the name and there i can't click on OK because it's at the bottom. My request is, can i fix this problem within the emulator or can someone give me a save-state that is more advanced so that i can test if my specs will run this masterpiece. Thanks for your help.
