Dual Core desync question

Hello,

I am wondering if lowering settings will reduce the dual core desync crashes. I have a i5 2500k oc'd to 4ghz (stock volts and stable), a GTX 660ti and 8GB of RAM on a Win7 x64 build. I am using the most up to date build of dolphin (4.0 4549) AFAIK. I am operating inside of hyperspin and I am wanting to minimize settings changes as much as possible. So I have the settings at single core, 2X internal res, 2x AA, 4x AF with the rest of the settings stock (for stability). Some games simply cannot operate off of single core and i am cool with that. But the dual core setting creates the sync crashes. Also understandable. So about 20% of my games will have to be dual core. I want to weed out the games that will give me sync crashes and delete them from my hyperspin database. If i reduce settings on these games to stock internal res, no AA and no AF..... will it be worth it?

Does anyone have any experiences they can key me in on?

Thanks in advance
Dux

4.0-4909 is the latest build, btw. It has better dual core syncing, so you should be able to globally turn dual-core back on without crashes.
