So I'm very tempted to give Windows 10 a try because DX12 sounds delicious, but at the same time I really like Windows 7, and from what I've seen there are some design elements of Windows 10 that I'm not sure I would be a fan of. The obvious solution here is to dual boot, but I tried once before and it didn't seem to be working the way I intended, so I stopped it. Does anyone have a good tutorial for installing Windows 10 alongside my current Windows 7 installation?

D3D12 is still very buggy (as of 4.0-9168). Anyway, it´s still worth a try.
If you are installing Windows 10 from a DVD (or Blu-ray), the setup program should allow you to create a partition for Windows 10 so Windows 7 doesn´t get affected. EDIT: Ninja´d by helios747. Thanks for the tips. One last question--is it possible that I could partition just enough space on my C: Drive for the OS and use symbolic hardlinks for my Desktop, etc., or would that not work at all/be not as convenient as I am thinking?
