If someone could donate a snapdragon 800 device it would be way better.
http://www.androidauthority.com/snapdrag...pu-249086/ http://gfxbench.com/compare.jsp?D1=Intel...200&cols=3 A snapdragon 800's gpu would be way better than the tegra 4 The Tegra 4 has a faster cpu but it's overcome by the snapdragon's higher clock. 07-27-2013, 01:11 PM
Sonic already has a Snapdragon 600 (Krait 300 + Adreno 320) device, and the GPU's functionally no different from the one in the 800 (Krait 400 + Adreno 330) aside from the speed.

Well, I can connect a PS3 controller or Wii U Pro Controller to my MacBook Air to have real buttons, but it still won't run much at full speed, will it?
Until we have devices that perform decently for games more demanding than Ikaruga, I don't think we really need to concern ourselves with buttons. v_v

Of course we will still be around 2 ghz so i guess it doesn't really matter... 07-30-2013, 04:37 AM

Also you need a stand for the tablet/phone. Its A LOT better if it has real buttons.(07-27-2013, 11:17 AM)DatKid20 Wrote: If someone could donate a snapdragon 800 device it would be way better. It´s not only about playing it on a high end device, but the shield is perfect for running emulators as it has real buttons > touchscreen to play with. 07-30-2013, 08:02 AM

With shield, however, in the future we MAY be able to get PC to Shield Streaming on dolphin if its easy enough to do for the devs (thats speculation coming from me, not from the devs themselves). GC emulation being streamed to the Shield would be pretty good, and you wouldn't need to worry about performance problems with a nice Desktop running the game. Hopefully Nvidia will reveal more details on how to get a game working for that feature when they end the beta of their streaming program.(07-26-2013, 11:25 PM)Sonicadvance1 Wrote: That's right. You do know there are stands that have a controller right? |
