Lots of hardware has LibUSB issues.
Dolphin Emulator slow WiFi

This might sound silly, but could it be possible that Dolphin turns on/causes the dedicated GPU to use more power, and there's no enough power for the whole system, so the Wi-Fi card goes into power saving mode? It just seems weird that Dolphin could affect hardware being just a program with no special privileges…

Are you sure you are connecting your wiimote with Mayflash's bluetooth and not your PC's internal bluetooth?
One of the combo wifi/bt cards I owned causes this while bluetooth is in heavy usage. I recommend you to get a good wifi card with no bluetooth. Most devices contain wifi these days, so you can use wifi direct easily. 05-05-2016, 06:10 AM
It's LibUSB. It causes all kinds of weird things with various hardware that behaves badly. It's not Wiimotes. It's not overheating. It's some kind of LibUSB stuff.
Thanks for the continuing support guys. So just a couple minutes ago something really strange happened. I'm playing Super Smash Bros. Melee on keyboard with the netplay version, 7840, and I had a youtube video running in the background (about melee). I ran up and shined a cpu and at that very moment, my computer froze. Ctrl+Alt+Del didn't work, and I simply pressed the power button, and it restarted the laptop. But the strangest part is that I was using earbuds, but the freeze caused the audio to slow down and distort, and began to play out of my speakers. I don't even know man.
Also I've reinstalled windows 2 times before, and I'm sure it's a clean install. If it is a LibUSB problem, what am I even supposed to do about that? Because I'm not even using my Mayflash adapter in many cases that the problem happens. Oh, and also, the wireless card is connected by M.2, not PCIE (05-05-2016, 08:23 AM)p1r Wrote: If it is a LibUSB problem, what am I even supposed to do about that? However, on newer revisions, Dolphin shouldn't try to do any kind of communication through LibUSB unless you've enabled GameCube adapter in controller settings. In other words, I'm not sure if something can be done in recent revisions to preven those LibUSB conflicts... It's just a different form factor with support for new features/technologies.

Also, a new problem I've noticed: with the newest build today, attempting to run Melee will result in a blank screen if the Mayflash adapter is already plugged in. Unplugging it before starting Melee is ok. And Brawl/PM does not have this problem. 05-06-2016, 09:52 AM
If you have a GameCube Controller Adapter plugged in and set, but don't have controllers plugged in where it's expecting them, games will hang right now. Working on it.

So for a couple days now I haven't had any problems. Instead, now if I play a youtube video and play Melee at the same time, my laptop fans will get a bit louder (which is good). I think my issue was caused by my GTX 960m - ever since I updated Nvidia drivers (which I do regularly) I haven't had problems. So I think for now my issue is resolved.

So I think it was a hardware issue after all. When I plug in USB cable to power my laptop fan, my wifi slows down significantly. I'll try to seek a replacement for my laptop.
