I have this same problem, but it persists even after installing the latest beta driver. Does it have to specifically be the one released in June?

The latest one didn't work for me. I haven't tried the one you listed, will try as soon as i get it installed
Update: It's still crashing
Guess your issue has nothing to do with driver...
Which games did you try ? Dolphin version ? Settings ? Have dolphin ever worked on your laptop yet ? Or it just don't work Maybe your anti virus program blocked dolphin... Have you installed Directx June 2010 & Visual C++ 2010 32 bit / 64 bit yet ? Did dolphin use Nvidia GPU ? http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=20864 Laptop: Mini PC :: 09-13-2012, 05:52 AM
It works when i use the integrated Intel card, but the game has many points where it has terrible slow down, and Iv'e noticed some parts of the game intro and parts some music is skipped. The game is Metroid Prime. And I'm using the most recently uploaded Dolphin, version 3.0-766 x64

Does Nvidia GPU work with direct3d9 backend ?

Dolphin crashes when i click on graphics, so I don't even get a chance to try switching the backend
