No CPU can handle Dolphin fullspeed all the time Maybe in some years, when Skylake/Skymont is out.

I doubt there is anything Intel can do to raise the clock rate and/or IPC high enough to accomplish that on an IC based on transistors.

My cpu runs SMG+SMG2 and Metroid Prime 1 very well e.g. BUT at certain spots (in SMG e.g. the main base and water(!) levels) dolphin is always lagging, Metroid Prime 1 is the same, runs very good actually, but in fights and when using morph ball charge, it always lags.. Now I dont haven an i7, so I wanted to ask a dude who owns one: do you experience these lags I described too?

If it's a 2600K or worse, and it's also at 4.4 GHz or less, they will, potentially even worse than you do. If it's a 2600K clocked higher than yours, or a Sandy Bridge E at 4.3 GHz (ish?), or a 3770K clocked at 4.2 GHz, it will work better. Also, and i5 3570K at 4.2 GHz will perform almost identically to a 3770K in dolphin, as the extra cores aren't utilised, only the extra cache.

There are still little short lags at the very demanding spots, but they are nearly not noticeable. Audio is faster now ofc, but like that, too, its not worse than "normal speed" sound even water levels (if im diving) in SMG2 dont lag anymore. btw, "If it's a 2600K clocked higher than yours", mine is running @ 4.6GHZ and I dont think its a good idea to oc it even more. so, the end: nearly lagfree SMG and MP (at least MP1) is possible with i5 2500k. and yes, my settings are very high, only AA is fully disabled

That's not good advice. Turning off the framelimiter won't have a significant impact on performance. Even if it did what are you going to do about the places where the game runs at 400%+ speed because you left the framelimiter turned off?
