Incase anyone wonders, GT 710 is currently what I have available on the system and is sufficient for my use case, if I can get it to perform optimally.
System specs: Ryzen 5 1600, DDR3 8GB 1600 MHz, Linux Ubuntu derivative
I have gotten Dolphin to work fine with modern GPUs on same or similar OS. With GPU showing in adapter options. Initially the system used open source Nvidia drivers, so I used APT to find 470 driver (Ubuntu repos) and installed it. I checked to see if open source drivers became inactive, and it was. Command I used, return nothing in regards to open source driver..prior to install proprietary driver from Nvidia it gave feedback on the open source driver being active. It feels I am getting on average 15 fps or less in races, even at lowest resolution. Vulkan backend works fine. I saw a Windows video and he was getting 60 fps, so I suspect something is missing and is why adapter doesn't show up? Thank you for reading.
