yep, higher number = higher performance

Maybe 10 fps or more because u re upgrading ur "CPU" with SSE3 (Core 2) to other more powerful with SSE4.2 (i7). [/quote] Are you crazy ? 10fps by using SSE4.2 instead of SSE3 ? No way in hell, lol. Also, core 2 duo CPUs on 45nm technology support SSE4.1 (like the c2d e8400 for example)
@GodRays
LOL WUT. SSE don't make a notable difference (at this moment), the power of the CPU is the most important thing when u upgrade it. I wrote "Maybe 10 fps or more" because he only want to upgrade the CPU (and the mobo of course) and not the other parts (like the GPU; he actually have integrated graphics xD). Remember the relation between CPU, GPU, RAM and the bottleneck effect. Check this; a high end CPU (i7) cant run some games at max speed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tH43aXOHuEw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlwFQ6bed4U Bye. Chuck Approves 04-13-2010, 11:17 AM

Check this: http://www.pathikshah.com/blog/intel-cor...ifference/
Remember L2 Cache and L3 Cache are different things. The socket, the bus, the chipset, and others things are differents too in i7 processors. Chuck Approves 04-18-2010, 12:33 AM
Oh...
Great changes as happened in dolphin emulator... Could we see a new brand build? Thank you Very much! |
