Guru64, do you still need a build?
EDIT: Whatever, here's one for Win x64: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?w6xzp1agaud9ma5 Just request if you need a 32 bit one but I know Guru64 runs 64 bit.

Nope, the patch intentionally skips a certain draw command in the game. The heat effect is supposed to be in the game. Apparently Nintendo likes to hide their crappy hardware power by crippling their games 01-08-2012, 01:32 AM
I thought that would have been obvious. You removed an effect the game normally uses, therefore it's a hack.

One thing I always have noticed about this heat effect is that it continues drawing the same way regardless o the internal resolution. The same aplies to the water refraction in SMS, does your patch remove that as well?
Since you was able to remove it, would there be a way to make it scale like the resolution? I don't know how that effect is done, so I could be making a dumb question, but anyways is that possible?
