I want to make it clear that this is not my first time using custom textures. I have been using HD textures for Mario Kart Wii and SSBB for almost over a year now. But I have also not used Dolphin and maybe about a month at this point, so forgive me if there is something I forgot.
I recently reinstalled Dolphin due to some issues detecting motion inputs from my Mayflash DolphinBar. That fixed it, yes my Dolphin was up to date before I reinstalled it directly from the site. The only thing I backed up was my Save data, my system theme, my controller configs, and Nand. For both GameCube and Wii games. I usually back it up by just usually dragging the GC onto my desktop, the same thing for the Wii folder, Config, and Styles folders.
I realized that I didn't back up my textures until it was too late, "not a big deal" I thought and simply reinstalled some Brawl HD textures and I decided to grab some HD textures for Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 as well as you can see here:

I made sure the games had the correct IDs and then simply enabled Load Custom Textures and Prefetch Custom Textures:

I even made sure these paths were correct which they still remain:

Once I was done I decided to load up Brawl and was pleasantly surprised by the notifications above:

And it was correct, the main menu was crispy. I then decided that maybe my Dolphin was already corrupted in some way and decided to redownload it again and place the folder in the directory so it could overite anything that was corrupted. That didn't work, I decided to do another fresh reinstall, copying the folders onto the desktop and setting up a clean Dolphin before pasting them back over... At first, I was a little surprised before my Dolphin was portable, but I expected the folder to appear in my Documents folder after I found out it was in my Appdata folder instead. After going through that little rabbit hole and loading up Mario Galaxy 1, It still didn't work
So I then reinstalled the custom textures:
The Brawl Textures are from a Brawl mod using a custom build of Dolphin, and I simply copied the folder over to my main Dolphin. This is the mod: https://gamebanana.com/mods/425018
The Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 HD Textures:

I renamed the folders to the Game's IDs and after that didn't work, I gave up and went to bed.
Is there something that I am doing wrong or is there a new way to do this that I don't know of?
