Overclocking definitely give him much better performance .

1. They don't OC very well, not even the K editions.
2. He's trying to build a low power HTPC. So OC is out of the question.

Well its less that I am a fanboy.
In fact I just want to get the best.
The most important for me is 24p playback (the major feature of a HTPC).
So there we have Intel with Sandy (24p bug) und Ivy (still the shutter, I've tryed it yesterday on a friends computer...it sucks totally. I don't see it every time, but you have often the feeling "Oh, something goes wrong here".
AMD with Radeon and Trinity (works both fine (ok, not perfect out of the box, but no big bug)).
And nVIDIA (they have problems with the colour range (falls back to 16-235 instead of 0-255, so black is more grey)).

So thats why I definitely AMD grafics.

So there are two ways:
Use an Trinity APU.
Or use an Ivy (like the i3-3220T) with an dedicated AMD card (have to deal with the high of the case, so I think that the 6570 is the most powerfull passive one I can get in).
Ivy + AMD has definitely more performance, but I am a little worried about the heat/noise.

I have seen more powerfuls one then that, but they weren't low profile and I don't know if that is what you are looking for :p

Ah, sorry.
They don't have to be low profile, but they have to be not bigger than standard profile.
Something like this wont work: http://geizhals.at/de/743133
Here you can see the space Case

OrigenAE says that 117mm ist the maximum high for a GPU.

Can you lay out for us EXACTLY what you'll be doing with this PC?

@ NaturalViolence: First task:
Play every type ov movie (1080i, BD, TV, 3D). (Not very much to do, but the HTPC sould be silence)
Second Task: Play some games (mostly Dolphin). I've another PC for hardcore gaming, so I don't need high performance stuff (like my 6970). But thats the contradiction. I need silence and power. But the silence is more important for me.
Want to use a passive GPU, because I've never see an active one with less than 15db (all other parts of the HTPC makes just 15db).

117mm maximum high is right.
But in another forum they gave me the hint, that OrigenAE measures from the MoBo to the top (so just the card). Most GPU manufactors measures the whole slot.
So full profile should work (if it's not too big).

Whats about the Radeoan 7000 problems?
I think I could try a passive 7750 (the HIS or perhaps even the Sapphire).
