Hi! I have been playing Super Paper Mario using the mostly-great texture pack you can find on the forums. Sometimes I notice stuff and spend an embarrassing amount of time finding the textures to replace and remake them -- I'll probably release my slightly upgraded version eventually.
Anyway so I was trying to get the memorabilia in Fort Francis (Chapter 3-4) to look better by replacing the compressed, tiny textures with the actual artwork and as part of that I initially just scaled some textures 4x in Paint.NET with the bicubic option, when I noticed that some tiny things look so much better even just with that; compare the mushroom keychains here:
Some things I tried look worse when this is applied, such as Peach's small icon, but these are strikingly better. Is there a way to tell Dolphin to apply this type of scaling or a similar one to everything (or maybe to every extremely small texture)? I found an old thread mentioning it being in Enhancements but can't seem to find it (those may just be referring to Scaled EFB Copy which solves a different problem). I am running 5.0-15731.
