What revision and OS?

Just to close my problem - I was surprised as I wasn't lagging on these specific lag-spots I had a year ago - Dolphin 3.0 ftw?
And in addition, I could overclock my CPU if it is necessary. Alright I'm done. Tongue
Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.60 GHz (4 CPUs)
3582MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 430, 1024 MB
Windows XP Professional, DirectX 9.0c, Dolphin 3.0

Sorry having internet issues and using my tethered phone right now but I can't burn through my data plan.

I am using windows 7 ultimate 64 and dolphin r7719. For some reason the newer dolphin release would not detect my 360 wireless controller but the R7719 release does.

Thanks

I need screenshots of your settings. I would also try out 3.0 if I were you.

Use d3d9, uncheck "disable per pixel depth", and uncheck RAM efb copies.

Hey all, I've been trying to figure out this emulator for years and never had any luck, I just found out I was using bad game files when trying to use my own games, finally am getting to see Wind Waker in HD after all these years!

Anyways, so far I am getting decent framerates on the starter island with my Xbox, but my audio is having these weird pops and scratches that really hurt the ears.

My specs:

intel duo2 core cpu @3.00 ghz 3.00 ghz
4 gb ram
64 bit op with win7 64
soundcard: sound blaster x-fi Xtreme audio set to 24 bit 4800 Hz

Also, with my settings, if you wouldn't mind any pointers for the optimum video settings I'd appreciate it. Thanks for any assistance and time offered!

It would be so great if someone could help me out with this. I've adjusted my settings pretty much exactly as recommended in this thread and Wind Waker works fine, except

1. It isn't in HD, in fact it looks horrible. I want to attach a screenshot, but I don't see the option to do so anywhere....suffice to say I think I'd almost prefer to play it on GC. While Link looks fine, the buildings and structures look muddy and are extremely low-res.

2. The music constantly slows down and then speeds up again, it always repeats that pattern.

I really hope someone takes the time to tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thx in advance.

EDIT: I should note though, that those issues are only present in the game itself, everything sounds and looks perfectly in the main menu screen!

If you want it to be higher definition, then increase the IR. It's that simple.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: Intel i5 4670K @3.4GHz... for now @4.6GHz with a quick and dirty (yet stable) OC. May get faster in a bit before the end of time.
RAM: 16GB (Down from 24 GB after some was given to siblings)
GPU: Radeon Vega 56
