I am using a Beelink SER6 Max with a Ryzen 7 7735hs (3.2GHz) and Radeon 680m graphics with 32GB DDR5 RAM. Dolphin 5.0-21024 is installed on the internal 1TB m.2 SSD.
Games run great at 60fps 95% of the time. However there is a persistent stutter where the application freezes for about 5 seconds at a time randomly, FPS drops to zero then jumps back to full speed. This occurs anywhere between every minute and every 5 minutes and in every game I have tested (Soul Calibur 2, X-Men Legends 2, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Star Wars: Rogue Leader). I assumed this was related to the backend or the ubershaders but no combination of them seems to alleviate the issue. I have tried enabling/disabling V-Sync both in Dolphin and in the AMD Adrenalin software. I've tried disabling/enabling "Store EFB copies to texture only" and "Store XFB copies to texture only", and every combination of those. I tried running in single core. I've tried using native resolution up to 3x native all with the same results.
(A side note, with the performance graph enabled, I noticed that it too freezes during these stutters and am not sure if this is normal or indicative of some underlying problem.)
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, I bought this computer after seeing Youtube videos of people running dolphin on it flawlessly so I know others have gotten it working correctly on this exact machine in the past so it should be possible.
