I'm trying to post pictures for a new texture pack I'm developing, yet when I try to upload them by dragging them into attachments it shows an uploading bar, get's to 100% then disappears. when I try to preview the post the image is missing.
Attachments aren't working?

We had a few space issues on the server earlier today, it might be fixed by now.
According to our permissions, you should be able to add an attachment. However, it will be moderated so a moderator will need to approve it before it appears on the board.
Considering this is your first post at all, I don't see any attachments from you or a post where you tried to attach something. I don't know why you posted here. I made an account to post about an issue I am having with a game, but I can't add gameplay capture or even a log file to the post. I chose not to commit the question until I am certain if I can or cannot add files alongside it. Under attachments, my allocated usage quota is unlimited. But when I add an attachment, it appears to upload, then at 100% it disappears and an error briefly displays at the bottom, "The type of file you attached is not allowed. Please remove the attachment or choose a different type." 07-09-2024, 03:18 PM
I tried again today and discovered the problem was user error. I was uploading Dolphin's logs as .log instead of manually changing the extension to .txt, which is an allowed file type. And after trying a large number of extension types, it seems that directly uploading audio/video footage from gameplay dumps is not allowed. I may have missed a listing of the rules on attachments, but I did not see anything in the Global Rules or FAQ threads about that.
