The only thing i can see is that it needs new permissions for full network access which older apks didnt need.ive checked my settings on my phone and im stuck how to get this installed

I know armv7 was 'broken' but i was under the impression that this was going to be worked on to allow devices like my z1 compact to play it

Well thats really disappoitning. The devs need to realise that most people either cant afford or dont want a k1 device.so surely they must try at least and find a workaround for this

Ive tried that last working armv7 build and all it does is crash at the menu.really wish @sonicadvance would fix this.its at the point that i cannot even play my games now....
they don't care about old devices for a few reasons.
1. smartphone turnover is incredible. people are consistently getting new phones every 2 years 2. that old architecture and hardware would never be able to emulate well anyways
Arch
Intel Core i7 - 4510U iHD4400 8GB RAM Check here first: wiki.dolphin-emu.org 06-12-2015, 05:47 AM
I can understand that about old devices. But me-ive got a z1 compact. Even if people with a z3 or s5, would have the same issues like i have.surely they dont see those as old devices.....
The ARMv7 JIT is has been removed from android builds, and Dolphin on Android now requires AArch64 (ARMv8) and Android 5.0+. By the time mobile CPUs are fast enough to run Dolphin, ARMv8 and AArch64 will be standard and ARMv7 devices won't even exist anymore! That and ARMv7 was never going to support all of Dolphin's JIT tricks, like fastmem, so it was permanently handicapped.
A full explanation will be in the upcoming Progress Report. AMD Threadripper Pro 5975WX PBO+200 | Asrock WRX80 Creator | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 FE | 64GB DDR4-3600 Octo-Channel | Windows 11 23H1 | (details)
MacBook Pro 14in | M1 Max (32 GPU Cores) | 64GB LPDDR5 6400 | macOS 12

Really? I find that really disappointing.due to the fact that not everyone can either A- can afford to switch to a newer device or B want to. Also apparently it was the developers updates that broke armv7 in the first place. Even the s5 only out a year ago has armv7 how could that be deemed as old tech??
