Has anyone been able to convert this texture pack to PNG? I'm trying to use the custom textures on a android emulation handheld and it isn't working and from what I can tell it seems the android build doesn't support DDS textures. I found a tool that is supposed to be able to convert the textures to PNG but it errors out constantly and doesn't actually convert the textures at all. I'm gonna keep messing around with it but was curious if anyone had already tried.
Edit: Found the issue, the GPU mode needs to be Vulkan to support DDS files, however, now I'm getting really bad graphical glitches. 03-24-2024, 09:59 AM

I have my GPU mode set to Vulkan and I even see a log message on game startup that some textures have been loaded, but everything looks exactly the same. 04-28-2024, 12:12 PM

There is a link to the PNG (development) version of the pack in the project guide, including a 4x version for testing on Android. 07-06-2024, 06:02 AM

But, at least on my device, Vulkan has some weird graphic glitches while walking around
Thank you for all your hard work on this! With RetroAchievements finally coming to Dolphin I have been so excited to jump back into the game and this pack makes it look incredible.
One thing I want to note just for anyone that may have a similar issue, while I had the "Prefetch Custom Textures" option enabled, it took anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes for the textures to load in properly. However as soon as I disabled that option they would load immediately upon launching the game. I have 32gb of RAM so I figured having this option would be a good thing, but it just delayed the textures instead. Other than that I am LOVING IT! Keep up the good work! EDIT: I have noticed some textures popping in, which I assume the prefetch option fixes.. So maybe I should just deal with the textures loading more slowly, or maybe there's another setting I need? |
