While I haven't tested it personally (my phone still hasn't gotten an update...), I don't have any reason to believe it won't work and haven't heard from anyone that it doesn't work.

I installed Dolphin on one of the Google Play x86_64 emulator images for Android 11 a while ago and it worked fine, even managed to keep running full speed for nearly the entire Super Paper Mario intro (it was also a little sad to know an emulator could handle Bounding Box effects in Dolphin better than various smartphones out there). I'm not sure if it was already the final Android 11 version or one of the later betas, though...

It does work fine on my Pixel 3a with Android 11 - with fine I mean it runs without crashing, though most games don't really got to full speed, but that's more of a fault of the phone's hardware than the software...

These problems exist on all other Android versions as well. This one I installed straight from the web. I didn't get any other ones from G Play. Then, you have a budget phone with a 32-bit (ARMv7) version of Android. If your processor is 64-bit, you can find a custom firmware for your phone, but even if you run Dolphin on it, your games will be very laggy. Dolphin requires a more expensive phone (at least 200 US dollars to play many games comfortably). Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors are highly recommended. The cheapest variant for playing comfortably on Dolphin is the Snapdragon 665. |
