Upgrade to ICC13 yet? And in case anyone is getting Trinity/Vishera you can't enable FMA3 without AVX2 in ICC.

I've been checking back and forth here for a while now and remember you saying you were going to do some tests as to what optimisation you find gives you a better speed up (perhaps) on a AMD processor. Being on a AMD processor myself, this is something that would be gratefully received!I have not had as much time as I would like to further test those optimizations. I had hoped to have more time by now, but life has a funny way of throwing you curve-ball after curve-ball and sometimes the only thing you can do is bunt and hope you make it to first. I am working on getting more free time by *hopefully* making enough to cut back on the hours I work. I'm using Dolphin 3.0 build as it just gives me the best overall FPS in every game i've tried in comparison to the development builds. Do you find this too?As with the lack of time to test those optimizations, I find that I have very little if any time to actually play these games. When I do, I usually use a few different builds: r2195, r6515, Dolphin 3.0, and the latest version I've compiled. 10-08-2012, 03:13 PM
Any chance someone can get a new build from Master with the Hashless (speed-up) branch integrated? The performance should be awesome!
It looks like the branch is a ways off from getting integrated so that's why I'm making this request - there's already been 3 months of changes in Master since the last Hashless build was created. Thanks!!

If there's too many conflicts I won't have time to go through all of them to fix them. Depending on what conflicts there are, I may not be able to resolve some. Hopefully there's not too many conflicts and the hashless code doesn't get into too many other areas that have changed recently. Anyway, appreciate you trying! I figure with Hashless branch and the latest optimization(Link), speed would be awesome!!

Would also love to have a "Xenoblade: HLE audio hack fix" with the latest optimization from delroth. Even if it increases the fps by 1.
Even if its a little, a speed gain is always welcome. |
