I need a good example if I'm going to make an issue report on it.Portraits especially look bad, and I think they would make a good example. 1x IR makes them into an NES version.

It all looks bad to me, to be honest hahahaThat just reminded me that the current text textures in the pack seem to have some issue during some videos or pre-rendered sequences (can't remember exactly what atm). It's like a white line goes down the center of them. I want to eventually try to modify them or create new text textures once I figure out where they all go eventually.

Maybe it's all the result of bad drivers/configuration on my part...?It all looks the same to me. One thing I do notice is D3D11 performs a lot better for me than OpenGL, I can actually enable AA at low levels.

(SPOILERS FOR THE SEVENTH PARTY MEMBER, DO NOT SEE IF YOU'RE NOT THAT FAR IN-GAME)I noticed this when messing around with Eryth Sea textures, they don't tile any cliff textures vertically. Small cliffs look ok but very large cliffs get stretched to ugliness. I never did test a really high resolution texture. Your theory makes me wonder, would an 8x texture look better since Dolphin only goes up to 4x IR max? I'd also imagine it would be pretty big in file size.
Original(SPOILER)
4X The original size(SPOILER).
Every retextured thing there is 4X actually. See how the jump in resolution didn't make much of a difference for that little edge part?
Additionally, looking at the plateau in the back you can see how tiling the textures makes everything look less detailed...
Also, sneaky preview in there about something I've been kinda working on for like the past month.
And an update of what I've been up to.... still dumping USA textures. I'm starting to build a nice collection. It's still nowhere near as complete as Europe textures, but it is coming along nicely; I just broke 23k textures with the last batch. I also think I found the last of the different static IDs between EUR and USA, so ALL non-paletted textures should now load in USA. I'm definitely going to be releasing what I have soon so USA owners can at least have something, then update it ever so often. I want to get enough textures from the majority of the areas so that a lot of the game is retextured, but I've been pretty busy the past 2 days. A big storm hit, which flooded a lot of my town. I was mostly unaffected but my basement wasn't, and it caused all kinds of problems and chores that I wasn't expecting.
