Sent a savestate to you via PM. If you know any better places to upload could you tell. It's just that Dropsend only allows 5 downloads in a month I think so it doesn't make sense to show the link on a public forum.

Hey thanks. guys! I will try out the drivers when I get a chance to tomorrow!
Temporarily placed my 4890HD into the PC earlier today. 4890HD (12.4) vs GTX670 (304.48):

hmm, i guess they weren't fixed after all
the card is running at 16x 1.1 :\ Per Lane v1.x: 250 MB/s (2.5 GT/s) v2.x: 500 MB/s (5 GT/s) v3.0: 1 GB/s (8 GT/s) 16 Lanes (16x slot) v1.x: 4 GB/s (40 GT/s) v2.x: 8 GB/s (80 GT/s) v3.0: 16 GB/s (128 GT/s)
Thanks for noticing! I'll look into that, thanks.
Edit: Ooops. There's no problem with the available bandwith. It makes use of 2.0 standard whenever the card starts to pump some muscle. The figure changes in GPU-Z to 2.0. http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/12/06/24/dqg.png 06-29-2012, 10:00 AM
I thought my thread had died out. It's kind of nice seeing that I'm not the only one having issues with the GTX 670. Means it's not something that I'm doing wrong or something. I see that you have the same ASUS model as me Reznor. I was kind of excited when I saw that nVidia had those new beta drivers but apparently they havent fixed anything according to your Metroid screenshots. This is so depressing. To have such a more powerful card but that gives you worse results, much worse even. I hope there's some kind of fix in sight.
Even though I'm almost getting double the performance of my old 6950 in PC games a part of me is regretting this purchase because I love Dolphin so much and the fact that I can't enjoy it anymore is quite frustrating. 06-29-2012, 01:19 PM

Haha. Me too, Zabi - I was relieved to see that I'm not the only one having issues with the GTX 670 in Dolphin. As you have said, the card is awesome for PC games but seems to react in a peculiar manner with Dolphin. A good thing, however, is, aside from the fps issue, it does extremely well in allowing 9xSSAA with high resolutions and other graphical effects without breaking a sweat . While I do enjoy some of the demanding PC-orientated titles (which is my primary reason for the purchase), I much prefer my Wii and Gamecube ones so I was looking forward to running some of these with the more exhaustive graphical features.
By the way, a lot of people have had problems with the Asus 670 TOP cards, due to over-ambitious factory-overclocking; new firmware exists for this though (lowers the boost clock). On top of that there has also been problems with frame-rate drop-outs for the whole 6xx series that the newer drivers have supposedly fixed (some say they are still experiencing the issue but to a lesser degree). Makes one wonder if the later problem could relate with what we are experiencing with Dolphin. It's also nice to hear that you're assisting, Squall. Thanks very much! 06-30-2012, 06:01 AM
You are not alone bro. My 550 TI is doing the same, can't pass 10 fps on ANY game. And as you said, it's frustrating
