So currently I use dolphin but also own a wii, however at the time being my TV is broken and my monitor has no hookup for the wii. hence why i have been using my computer and dolpin. What i was wondering is, could i bluetooth my wiimote like normal too the emulator, then plug the sensor bar into the wii and turn the wii on(giving the sensor bar power) and then use that so that wiimotion plus would work on the dolphin emulator?
Will this work?

yes you could...
the sensor bar only emits lights... nothing else
EDIT by neobrain: that pic was kinda annoying..

and isnt the lack of sensor bar the reason why the wimotion plus is hard to emulate? or is that something else
no?
there are Battery Sensorbars USB Sensorbars... you are totally wrong... and they are not hard to emulate? they are working? there are only a few problems with 3-party tools

So how would I go about getting my real wii mote, wiimotion plus and wii nunchuck to work on the emulator (note i have already synced it with bluetooth and windows) 02-27-2012, 10:23 AM
1. Plug sensorbar into a power source.
2. Plug the wiimotion plus into your wiimote 3. Plug the nunchuck into your wiimote 4. Sync the wiimote to your bluetooth stack 5. Open Dolphin, go to wiimote input, change to real wiimote, hit refresh

I would recommend getting another way to power your sensor bar. Either the wii won't give it any power, or the wii will draw all the power it would if you were running a game. Also the wii could give interference to the bluetooth.
