Hi everyone i'm relatively new here and to dolphin itself (not emulation in general though). I went through the basic process of connecting my wiimotion plus inside controller through a micro bluetooth 2.1 usb adapter, and it connects, recognizes and adds the wiimote to the devices, yet the wiimote itself doesn't seem to connect (lights still blink and then turn off, and dolphin doesnt recognize it either when it tries to pair up). i've been looking around on the forums here and other places and it seems I am alone on this strange issue, if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

Yeah, thats the pain in the ass one. Let me introduce you to this thread:
http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=19948 All the answers are in there. 1. Download and install the Toshiba stack. 2. Remove your BT software UNLESS you have the Asus BT dongle. 3. Copy your BT dongle hardware ID. 4. Run the Toshiba installer and let the install fail, Toshiba BT stack will be installed. 5. Find and edit tosrfusb.inf in the drivers folder of the Toshiba directory. You must add your device ID so that the installer will install the driver for your device. This is done by adding a line under both the device listings. This is how my edit for my dongle looks: "%TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc150%=TosrfUsb_Device, USB\VID_0B05&PID_1783" and it must be added under both columns. The 150 had to be added because 1-149 is already used and the 1783 is my particular device. 6. Launch one of the .exe's in the toshiba directory and it should install your dongle. 7. Launsh the Toshiba bt assistant and activate the wiimote, it should show up under the assistant. 8. Right click the icon and select connect. It should say preparing to connect 9. Push 1 and 2 on the wiimote and WAIT until thelights on the wiimote stop flashing. As soon as they stop flashing click ok (or whatever it says). 10. Your remote should work now. People have come up with shortcuts since last time I messed with it but this is the way I do it. Again all your questions should be answered in the linked thread, toward the middle and up. 02-06-2012, 08:15 AM
