Random Freezes are possible on this game though I've never heard anything like multiple-time freezes on the same spot . Thus , the problem was not caused by your PC but Dolphin itself
Please use Dolphin 3.5 - 145 , it works really well with this game and the other reason for me to keep using it : http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-maj...3-5-147-on Laptop: Mini PC :: 01-29-2013, 03:31 AM

Even the audio glitches I was experiencing before are, so far, gone. Thanks. 01-29-2013, 03:55 AM
I played the game with a HLE patched version of 3.0-4xx, I guess I had maybe like a handful of crashes thru the whole game, most seemed related to using savestates instead of proper saving

New User, signed up just to share my Setup as it's really flawless for me, and always good to help future lookers.
Especially as I had a problem with Xenoblade Chronicles on Dolphin getting black screen, but still sound. Just posting that so search engines can pick up anyone having a similar problem to me. That Problem occurred when I had Dolphins Graphic option, Backend: set to Direct3D9. That Black screen just kept popping up. Super frustrating, when I was playing way away from my PC via a wireless pad and Dolphin streamed to my PC. Direct3D9 was the one that allowed the Improved Textures to work flawlessly - which they did, looked great. My fix changed that slightly, as I had to change my Options; Graphics: Basic >backend to OpenGL. Now the skill tree boxes are colourless, and the locations have a weird wrap around look, when I get to a point on the map, but other than that, the texture back still works brilliantly. Anyway, my settings to Fix the Black screen problem on Dolphin for Xenoblade Chronicles.
Your settings will cause problem for the game though .
"Speed up Disc Transfer Rate " != speed up the game . This option is needed for Mario Golf Toadstool Tour to boot properly Speed : Direct3D9 > Direct3D11 > OpenGL . Thus , OpenGL is not recommended You should enable Vbeam instead , disable it will cause problem later , enable it you will gain speed "EFB copies to Ram" = Accurate graphic . You have to sacrifice performance for accuracy Game works fine with Direct3D9 and Direct3D11 , I believe only you have black screen issues 4x IR + 16xCXAA are too high for your GPU . Not even a fastest GPU could handle that without losing speed Laptop: Mini PC :: 01-30-2013, 10:30 PM
[quote='admin89' pid='259947' dateline='1359517946']Except no for me, it runs perfectly and better in this configuration than the many many many others I tried.
And 16xCXAA makes it looks beautiful and it still plays supremely fast, for me. I don't know how you think you're helping when I already said it runs flawlessly, and merely posted mysetup for anyone else experiencing problems. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=xenola...72&bih=745 I'm definitely NOT the only one experiencing black screen problems. Everyone internal configuration is different, this works for me, and may work for others. ------------------------------- Your settings will cause problem for the game though . 01-30-2013, 10:57 PM
Quote:Everyone internal configuration is differentSure but that has nothing to do with the game I use 4xIR on my desktop , I have zero issue Quote:And 16xCXAA makes it looks beautiful and it still plays supremely fast, for me.That is because of your CPU Maybe your CPU (don't know what it is) run the game at 150% speed , your GPU bottleneck the CPU at that insane resolution -> You can still play the game at 100% If you had been on this forum for 4 years , you should know that already Laptop: Mini PC :: 02-03-2013, 04:41 AM
