Hey,
I was curious whether it would be a plausible idea to increase the rendered area along the viewport X axis, when the Widescreen Hack is enabled?
I have done this a few times when widescreen patching PS2 games, via hex edit of the ELF (unrelated ofc). It would amend a number of games with missing rendering, and "late pop-ins", and possibly games with garbage shading in the extended areas., when the WS hack is enabled.
It would also be great if anyone had a link to the code area the WS hack is implemented.
