Quote:Lol, I am. ._. Quote:Laptops can run whatever if they're powerful enough, but alas, they don't share the great room for upgrading that their desktop counterparts do. I'm afraid you'd need to either pick up a more powerful laptop, switch to playing on a desktop, or really compromise some of your settings. ^Exactly. I was referring to the fact that laptops are barely upgradable. Quote:Which compromised setting you recommend me? Set efb copy to texture, turn off emulate format changes, turn off accurate texture cache, set the efb scale to .375x (it will look terrible), turn on efb scaled copy, turn off anti-aliasing, turn off pixel lighting, turn off pixel depth, turn off anisotropic filtering.

Then could you tell me if the following desktop and laptop can run Dolphin well (as well as other games, like Dragon Age)?

Both have great cpus and crappy gpus. If you bought the desktop you might be able to upgrade th video card though.

So in that case I would have to buy the desktop and upgrade it?
What's the gpu required for emulating Wii? Quote:NVIDIA® GeForce® GT220 (1024MB DDR3)What about this one? 04-09-2011, 05:34 AM
I would recommend building your own system.
Or if you INSIST on buying a prebuilt machine just give me a budget and I'll find a good one for you. Quote:What about this one?No. That's only good enough for bare minimum efb scales.

Then, could you give me an example of a laptop/desktop that can run Dolphin well? (by well I mean something that can read the graphics without crashing the emulator and run it smoothly)

Just an example system. I would really recommend that your build your own system though.

Is it, indeed, able to run Dolphin to its fullest? I mean, emulate Wii properly.

Yeah it's about as good as your going to get with current hardware without going insane with your budget.
