Seems like cutscene music still skips[it doesn't hang with one sound anymore! The music eventually cuts out in cutscenes though] with this patch, but the title screen music is much better.

Nexuse's first patch works well for me (not the second version which is now downloadable in the first post) and gets rid of the skipping problem in all cutscenes (although some small problems are still there, like sound "cracking" sometimes, and a small sound glitch at the end of the cutscenes), but I didn't test it on latest revisions yet (I currently use r5792).

Patch 1 and 2 of nexus's actually needed to be merged. After I did that the patches worked fine for ZWW, and I include the merged patch in my builds.

Someone probably wants to try the following methods: http://pastie.org/1092034
Timing is still an issue, sometimes the intro music works perfect, sometimes it simply crackles like before. I'm working with Torin atm to complete this part of the UCode, so I had to rip my changes out from a larger set that doesnt work yet. Maybe we'll get something working later. Edit: Another try, mainly fixing Torins last try. Crackling is gone, but the intro after starting a new game is fairly jumpy. I'm on that right now, suspecting a Bug inside Decoder21_ReadAudio. 03-12-2011, 01:54 AM
The only solution is to use LLE. Don't expect this issue to be resolved with HLE audio, at least not anytime soon if ever.

You need to dump the dsp rom and coefficient from a real Wii or Gamecube that's enabled for homebrew.
http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=3823 In that thread, download the file, rename to boot.dol, save to the root of an sd card or a folder under the apps folder for homebrew apps, launch the file using the homebrew channel, follow some on screen prompts and it should dump the dsp rom and coefficient files to the root of the sd card. |
