You do know what Bluetooth is I suppose. Think of a stack as a set of Bluetooth drivers for a particular operating system. Microsoft BLuetooth stack is the default (its bundled with the OS) set of drivers for Bluetooth devices.
EDIT: Some people replace the default ms stack for some other popular options, like Toshiba or Bluesoleil stacks. Rig *Corei5 3570K *Nvidia 9800GT 1GB DDR3 *Motherboard Asus P8H77M-PRO *Win7 x64 *RAM 8GB DDR3(1600) 06-27-2010, 03:06 PM

If you have XP SP3, Vista SP2 or 7, yes. If you don't have one of those, use Bluesoleil instead of Microsoft's stack.

I've been having some trouble, not with connecting a wiimote to my computer, but having Dolphin recognize it. The wiimote is connected using Microsoft Bluetooth stack and am running win 7 and dolphin 2.0. The wiimote appears in the device list as it should, but whenever I hit "Pair Up Real Wiimotes", it stands idle for a few seconds and goes back to normal without doing a thing. You guys have any idea what's wrong?
