LOL, no wonder it's slow for you, you have anti-aliasing at x9! That's the total performance killer. Also I don't think you need EFB to RAM for this game, so try setting it to "EFB to Texture", that's faster.
For better image quality without as bad a performance hit as with SSAA x9, put SSAA to none, and rather enable EFB scaled Copy and raise your fullscreen resolution to the native res of your monitor.
hm, I just tried the game (after a while; I don't wanna play it with that aweful bloom all over the screen, which is still there unfortunately) and it works fine for me (except for the bloom and the character getting black when leaving the village) with pretty much default settings; just be sure you enable the MMU Speed Hack in the game properties. I even run the game at fullspeed.
