Can anyone get the FMVs to render correctly (at least with recent Dolphin versions)? Because no matter what I try, default texture filtering, manual texture sampling, etc., I still get very severe horizontal lines (it's not really just lines, though, you can basically not see anything where those lines are). To my surprise, there's a video in the wiki where someone doesn't seem to have this issue. Maybe it's a regression? Or only on certain hardware?
Btw, all three Tak games need the following in their ini to not get awful constant flickering: "[Video_Hacks] ImmediateXFBEnable = False"
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

In 5.0-21464 start up and intro videos play without issue, and there is no flickering with Immediately Present XFB disabled for me. I'd suspect you've twiddled some set of settings somewhere and broken things. Try restoring the default config and try again. 05-02-2024, 05:31 PM
@Kolano: Yeah, Immediately Present XFB needs to be disabled to not get the flickering, that's what I said.
The FMVs, hm, do you perchance have an AMD card? I think I remember something about FMVs being more of a problem on nvidia cards with Dolphin. I tried all kinds of settings, backends (even software renderer!), etc., no change.

Nope, Intel and NVIDIA. No flickering, and at least the intro video plays /wo issue.
