The only thing that I can suggest is to check your computer again and make absolutely sure that you have the most recent version of DirectX, your graphics card drivers, and the Visual C++ runtimes. Again, this thread is for discussing topics directly related to Star Fox Adventures. Have you asked anyone on the SVN Revision Discussion forum or the Support forum? First, try setting frameskip to 1. (see above)
Also, try playing around with different settings. Check/uncheck the "Enable OpenCL" or "Enable CPU->EFB access" boxes, for starters. Go through all the graphics plugin settings and general settings, one by one, to see if changing any of them gives you more speed.
