Hey everyone. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere but for some strange reason the intro of Soul Calibur 2 makes dolphin crash for me, with both NTSC and PAL versions.
What will happen is, this comes up first.

And then when you hit ok, this comes up, to which you have to end the process or it'll just keep going in a loop.

However, if I spam start+a to skip the intro movie, the game works just fine otherwise, which I only just figured out before I spent like 2 hours trying to fix it.
While trying to get it to work, these are the steps I took, to which NONE were effective.
1) Disabling dual-core - black screen with some sound
2) Using recommended settings (IL, safe texture cache) - no change
3) Using different versions (I tried r4771 to r5053) - no change
4) Switching between the OpenGL plugin and D3D9 - no change
When switching to different plugins and Dolphin versions, I kept all enhancements off (no anti-aliasing/anisotropic), resolution at the minimum, rendered to main window, using recommended settings as stated above, which all returned no results. I only figured out that it was the intro movie when I got frustrated and just started spamming on my controller, as silly as it sounds Once you are in the game, everything works fine.
Anyone else having this issue? Is this a known bug? It doesn't really bother me that much, but I hadn't ever seen anyone mention it, so I thought it would be good to post to possibly get a solution and let the developers know about it. This is the setup I am using:
Intel Celeron E3200 @ 3.8ghz
Gigabyte GeForce GTS 250 1gb GDDR3
2gb RAM
Gigabyte EP45-UD3L mobo
Windows XP 32-bit
Thanks.
