The easiest way I can think of would be to export your Dolphin's memory card save as a .GCI file and put that on a real GC memory card (via USB GC memory card adapter) and then use a real GC or Wii to tranfer via the GBA-GCN cable. Now, that is a lot more involved than just using Dolphin on your computer (and it requires a lot of real hardware) but compared to the headache you'd get trying (and failing) to get VBA-M and Dolphin to talk to each other correctly, at least the above method would work.

I just started playing this game, it was alright at the start running at 58 fps, then during the cutscene and the now the gameplay its running at 3fps . the speed itself is running ok (40-98 speed) but it seems that its rather slow :
I'm using Dolphin 3.0 Windows 7 (64 Bit) AMD Sempron SI-42 Processor 2.00 Ghz ATI RADEON HD 3200 If it cant get that much better, would anyone mind giving me the best settings with my Specs? 06-22-2013, 10:27 PM

For those who are having low fps, dolphin is an emulater which means its main function is to convert GC code to IBMPC code. So its calculation intensive meaning your processor needs to be fast irrespective of no. of cores(exactly 2cores for dolphin). My sister's laptop has 2.4ghz i5 quadcore and it lags riduculously while my cheap i3 540 has 3.1ghz and the game runs at 150% at all scenarios. Graphics is secondary only. I have integrated graphics but still speed is fast at full high settings.
Now to my problem, I have a similar save file problem. I have been playing a long time and tried doing an ingame save. It says the memory card is not the same. Insert the correct mem card in A. When I reset and press continue from game menu, it works but the progress is too old. I dont understand how this problem happened. Its the same story in the ingame save but with older progress. Is there anyway to fix this or do I have to play from the ingame save progress? Deleting save from raw file gave the same error. Also, does this game have support for 2x gamecube connect? I see its only GBAs. I will abandon playing this game if save cant be fixed or if its futile to EV train here. 07-13-2013, 07:16 AM
I have a simple question: Is it possible to get back to the start menu on an emulated game, namely Pokemon Colosseum? I really didn't think about this problem until I basically beat the game after catching all the shadows. The issue is that in order to play in the colosseums for Battle Mode, you must be able to get to the start menu and register your Poké's. Is this possible, or am I SOL? When I tried restarting the emulation, all it does it restart the entire game with no save state.

Heyy.. My game seems go be wonky, It wont let me past the title screen, it says it can't save, even if I say "Continue without Saving" it just reverts me back to the "Press Start!" Screen.. Not to mention the music is heavily distorted, I do have the right bit version (x64) whats up?

You need a good computer. 09-24-2013, 07:56 AM
I'm having an issue with lighting. Character models are appearing a dark shade of black regardless of location. The issue was present before and after changing any settings, and apart from that the game runs fine. It's on Mac OSX, and my system can handle the game just fine.

Actually I found the issue, it's with all games on Mac OSX with NVIDIA GPUs for a certain version of Dolphin. Apparently 3D models wouldn't light correctly. Fixed now by downloading the development version 3.5-1025

I made an account to inform you guys that HLE in the new version (4.0) of dolphin now has the missing instruments. From what I remember its seems like the sound volume of the different instruments aren't the same as on the GC (to long since i played it), but they are there. 4.0 doesn't change anything about LLE though, so it is now recommended that you play this game with HLE to get the best sound.
