Is there a way to remove the 30 fps lock on this game?
How would i go about it? 06-05-2018, 06:35 PM
Am I the only one running into an issue getting the widescreen support working? The game seems to ignore the setting on my system and resets it every time I start up the game. Seems to be a general issue with most of the settings in the game, actually, for me. Quite a bummer, as I love this game to death.

I had some trouble with that "Corrupted Videos" issue.
So after reading this, and trying some settings and scenarios, only the "Force Texture Filtering" option corrupted *those* ('VP6 video codec' or whatever) videos. Yeah. Anistropic Filtering doesn't affect them. (I don't know how to edit wikis, or if I even have access to such things. Might aswell write my findings where they're relevant. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) 09-21-2018, 10:44 PM
The corrupted videos issue appears to no longer affect Dolphin. I played with 16x anisotropic filtering and at least the intro video displayed correctly.

Quote:007: Everything or Nothing has a native 16:9 display option, but it requires enabling it in its internal options and setting Dolphin's Aspect Ratio graphics setting to "Force 16:9". Widescreen causes stretching (see attachments). Difficult to believe that this occurs on console. (09-24-2018, 05:22 PM)99939 Wrote: Widescreen causes stretching (see attachments). Difficult to believe that this occurs on console. That's just in the menus though. right? Widescreen options in 2004 were fairly new and supported by limited displays, so they were frequently not that polished. I think Dolphins AR detection code has likely been updated since that wiki entry was written, so you may want to try with the auto AR option, but it's likely to leave the widescreen output squished. 06-05-2022, 04:12 AM
This game is still wrongly running at 30FPS on Dolphin, just like From Russia With Love and GoldenEye: Rogue Agent.
Not sure the Compatability should be on "Perfect" when this issue still exists. On original hardware, these games all ran at mostly stable 60FPS. |
