I can easily overclock my E8400 to a stable 3.6ghz with low temps. Temps are sitting at 37-38 with no load, and never go past 50 while running Dolphin.
The problem is all the games run significantly worse than if I leave it at stock 3.0ghz.
with the OC Resident Evil 4 (Gamecube) frame rate is only 10fps and is unplayable, but if I set my cpu back to stock I get a steady 30fps and the game runs good.
any ideas why a OC would cause dolphin to run slower?
