@ James333
He means you were wrong about Nvidia and ATI. Nvidia cards perform better for Dolphin and are more compatible, that's the idea I'm getting from reading the forum (I have a gtx260) 03-14-2010, 08:34 AM
it was irony. there are no facts, all he heard were rumors. im not saying whats better as i dont care.
could we please get back to topic. i didnt want to respond but godrays made me 03-14-2010, 02:11 PM
Is it possible for someone to knock up a patch/build of 2.0 rc1 x64? I don't really understand how to use the patch. I assume its for use when compiling builds.

It's a shame that some games like Zelda TP don't work in 3D anymore.Because it seems to crash Dolphin when you switch between fullscreen mode and windowed mode. I think the best solution is to create an option "Enable 3D Vision" and replace my "g_ActiveConfig.bFullscreen" by something like "use3DVision ? g_ActiveConfig.bFullscreen : false". 03-29-2010, 02:51 AM
you have to compile it with the patch applied. get the dolphin source, setup the libraries and applications you need in order to compile, apply the patch and happy compiling. its not that hard and pretty straight forward. theres a thread on how to compile in the svn builds forum(sticky).
EDIT: heres an untested build of r5247: 32bit: http://www.mediafire.com/?me15dwzem1z 64bit: http://www.mediafire.com/?hnr2gtmdmbj 03-30-2010, 11:38 AM
Thanks Oehr. I finally got it to work. I had the x64 version and there are a couple extra steps in VS to make the build work. The patch however reverts that one particular file to an old version, but hey it works great and I can get all the new builds when they come out.
I was also wondering if anyone had got the Zelda collectors edition to work on the dolphin. It includes the old nes games and Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask. This would be awesome if I could play these games in 3D. I can load the rom and get the selection screen to come up no problem, but as soon as I try to go into one of the games the screen goes blank and nothing happens. Has anyone got this to work or any version of Zelda Ocarina of Time? I messed around with the emulator some more and it seems that different screen sizes and adjustments will turn off the ability to use S3D with certain games. The best modes I found were all aspect ratios of 4:3 such as 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768 also 1280x1024 (which is not 4:3) worked sometimes. I have a 62 inch TV and really wanted to play in 1920x1080. Does anyone know why this happens? 03-30-2010, 12:57 PM
