[Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - Wynadorn - 06-05-2010 Problem: The 2 games currently have both look pixelated in Dolphin Emulator (See picture #1 and #2) Also, what is quite strange about this is that menus and other 2D graphics are fine (See picture #3) Is there a way to fix this? I am curently using the settings sugested from the dolphin wiki page. I do not have this problem with the Gamecube emulator where I have The Wind Waker doing fine ![]() (Hope this isn't just me nagging and every1 playing with these graphics xD) #1 ![]() #2 ![]() #3 ![]() System: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8400 S775 @3.00GHz Graphics Card: Asus EN8800GT (TOP) 512MB (Trough a DVI cable) RAM: Crucial DDR2 800MHz 4GB Kit (2x 2GB) OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bits) Hard drive: 2x Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB 16M (Raid 0) Motherboard: Asus P5E Monitor: 2x Acer H223HQ (on the max resolution of 1920x1080) Dolphin: SVN E 5601 Settings: Config -> General ![]() Config -> Display ![]() Config -> Wii ![]() Config -> Plugins ![]() Graphics -> Direct3D ![]() Graphics -> Enhancements ![]() Graphics -> Advanced ![]() The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess ![]() Bleach - Shattered Blade -> Properties
RE: [Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - FloW3184 - 06-05-2010 disable xfb in direct 3d. RE: [Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - Wynadorn - 06-05-2010 Nope didn't fix it ![]() ![]() ![]() Happy & Feeling stupid xD Turned EFB Copy to Texture and that fixed it for zelda, though I already did that some time ago. ![]() ![]() Bleach still crapy but ill mess around a bit more ;P RE: [Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - omegadox - 06-05-2010 I do know in OpenGL plugin, you can turn of native Wii resolution, but do not know what internal resolution used in D3D plugin. RE: [Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - achaw - 06-05-2010 Dude, sorry for the off-post, but how many FPS do you get with that sys spec and that resolution??? Thanks RE: [Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - Wynadorn - 06-05-2010 (06-05-2010, 07:32 AM)achaw Wrote: Dude, sorry for the off-post, but how many FPS do you get with that sys spec and that resolution??? Around 28-30 FPS and speed 98-100%, but that's only the starting area though. Cant tell what ill have later on in larger areas like Hyrule Filed where I heard most pll have problems. Tried OpenGL a bit but I dont think its an option atm because setting the EFB copy to Texture doest fix the blurry effect as it did in Direct3D9 ![]() There are 2 things enabled in Direct3D9 which I cant find in OpenGL, CPU -> EFB access and EFB Scaled Copy. ![]() Thanks for thinking with me btw
RE: [Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - shawnanastasio - 06-05-2010 in open gl you don't need CPU > EFB access. and why do you need EFB Scaled copy? RE: [Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - admin89 - 06-05-2010 Try Anti-Alias 4x RE: [Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - Wynadorn - 06-05-2010 (06-05-2010, 02:16 PM)shawnanastasio Wrote: in open gl you don't need CPU > EFB access. and why do you need EFB Scaled copy? No idea but if I turn EFB Scaled copy off the pixelated effect is back ![]() Because those where the only differences with OpenGL I thought that those 2 might cause the pixelated effect to go away in Direct3D9 Direct3D9 With EFB Scaled copy: ![]() Direct3D9 without EFB Scaled copy ![]() (06-05-2010, 02:45 PM)admin89 Wrote: Try Anti-Alias 4x Nop didn't help with 4x AA I also dropped to 40-60% game-speed ![]() In Direct3D9 with 4x SSAA I had similar effects. OpenGL with 4x AA ![]() Bleach is still the same as in the first screen-shot btw atm messing around with ''Wii Generic Patcher 1.2'' named in a trouble shooting guide here. RE: [Wii] 3D Graphics on Wii games are pixelated - Vuguroth - 03-29-2012 I have the same problem! Seems a bit unreasonable that it's so much better looking on a Wii |
