MHTri Help! - cooldemons911 - 06-04-2010
I got Monster Hunter Tri working for me. The only problem is that the FPS is low, <25. Bosses go even lower. I've seen other people play with no lag at all. I've tried every rev and every suggestion and nothing has changed. the best working one for me is r5423x64. Can someone help me?
My specs:
AMD phenom 8450 at 2.1Ghz
gtx 260
4gb RAM
Windows 7 x64

ya but a lot of people have no lag at all so im wondering whats different. anyway im currently using the NTSC so im gonna try PAL and see if its any different.

Speed... It deoends on your hardware :p. How faster and stronger the hardware is, the better FPS you'll get

nope. wrong. i figured it out!!!! turns out that PAL does indeed give me more fps than NTSC. i have everything running at 100%+. yes including the hunt with the 6 jaggias! i hope this helps many others out there!
ok it turns out that my fps drops to 20 when there are 6+ monsters in one place. other than that, everything's close to 100%. im satisfied with this. if anyone has any tips to increase fps when there are more monsters, let me know.
